This  drawing was done in preparation for the Bharatanatyam Dancer Chair made a few years back for the Museum of Design in Atlanta. Curated by Michael Gilmartin,  ‘ Talking Furniture Design: the language of contemporary South-Eastern Artisans’ ,  brought in some of Atlanta’s  renowned studio artist/makers. I felt a pride to being include in this show with the likes of  President Jimmy Carter, Maria Artimes, the late Donald Locke and Michael himself, to name just a few.
