A client wished to bring a contemporary accent in a writing chair to match his Louise XIV ornate writing table. I modified the swirls and curves, simplified carvings and the gold leaf use. The corner chairs of that era  had the legs off set ..I found that interesting and created a 5 legged option. The customized extra height of the seat gave an elegant curve to the three front legs.

I also designed the Celtic knot to reflect the elements and colors in the chair.
